On 28th April 2019 I shared the following experience on Facebook.

I just had my first encounter with a Doppelgänger.

Having an early night, l was laying in bed about to dose off, I turned to my left then felt someone sit beside me.


Initially l thought it was my daughter but they were not saying anything nor was she even looking at me, she appeared to sit and stare off into the corner of the room.


All l could see was the side profile of her face, it was then l felt the the goosebumps raise on my arms and neck, as I realised l was looking at myself!

Just as l reached out to touch my double, the figure slowly became transparent then dissipated.

Earlier last night I wondered why my daughter called out "the kettle is boiled". And she was adamant l turned it on, but l hadn't even left the room l was in and laughed it off thinking she was messing around with me. Now I'm not so sure. 🤔

And, I don't think I ever will.
